This Sunday, 22nd April sees the concluding event celebrating Limerick’s contribution to Earth Day 2012 with a Music Concert taking place from 12.00-14.00 in Limerick’s Milk Market.
Participating are:
Siobhain Lavelle, Folk Singer & Acoustic Guitarist who has played in Belgium,Italy,Canada and the U.S.A.She plays original folk songs and covers by many artists, including Neil Young,The Beetles and Joni Mitchell.
Father & Son Duo, Cillian and John Boyd: Flautist/Guitarist. Hailing from Ennis Co.Clare Cillian is an artist and musician and is currently a 4th Year student of Limerick College of Art and Design where he specialises in painting.As well as traditional music on the flute he plays flamenco and blues guitar.His artworks can be seen at

John, also a musician and artist plays the banjo and guitar.everything from Bluegrass,Blues,Ragtime to Traditional Music.

Monaleen National School Choir, pupils from 4th,5th and 6th class.Under the stewardship of Aoife Kennedy, the Choir has performed in the Hallelujah Concert, RDS, Dublin 2012 and participated in the Light up a Memory event for Milford Hospice. One of our strongest choral Limerick Groups.
“If Memory Serves”, Young Limerick Rockn’roll band who combine catchy rock hooks with addictive riffs and captivating lyrics.Formed late 2011, a band to watch out for.
